Nice to Meet You!

I used to be a Chemist.
I always had a passion for science growing up and it seemed like the best thing to study. I received my Bachelor’s in Chemistry in 2014 from Bowling Green State University.
It was a tough program and I challenged myself even more by being an Undergraduate Researcher in an Organic Chemistry lab. Once I graduated, I was so ready to get out into the world and start using my skills. I was taught how to be analytical, precise, a problem solver, and highly curious.
In 2014, I landed my first job.
I was beyond stoked and relieved. I was going to be working in a lab, using my hard earned knowledge, and hopefully learning more in my field.
As time progressed, I went from working in a Lab Support group, to working in the Research department. I was eager to learn and be back in my research roots.
In the beginning, it was pretty amazing. I was learning a lot and was even assigned to work on external projects which resulted in trips to Switzerland for research.

As time passed, I felt unfulfilled.
I was starting to feel unease with my current situation. There was not enough travel time, flexibility or authentic leadership. It was time for a change.
I went back to school for Web Development, only telling a few people close to me so it was kept a secret. Let me tell you, working full time and going to school is HARD! But I made it and was thrilled when I graduated.
I took the leap to start Moon Design Lab in May of 2019 and I couldn’t be happier. Running a business comes with its own set of struggles, but being able to set my schedule and work from any place that has WiFi, is good enough for me.
So here I am.
A living testament that following your dreams and not settling is fulfilling.
I love what I do and the people I work with. It brings me so much joy to help others and make an impact on their businesses. I am here to help you as well.
If I am not working, you can find me with my face in a book, drinking coffee, or adventuring in the mountains. Nature is the greatest healer.
